Jesus took his disciples out of the Upper Room and led them toward Gethsemane. En route He taught them of His love and how to remain in that love. Suddenly his topic turns from love to hate. In the passage we are going to consider He mentions hate about 8 times. He makes this assertion: ““If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18, ESV)
