The perspective of Jesus sees way beyond this world to another existence where His disciples will never die and no one will touch a hair on their head – ultimately and forever. So for Christ, death is not death, it is sleep. “He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”
